Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 16 Summary
Preparations of the Heart and Divine Order
Proverbs 16 reveals that preparations of the heart and answers of the tongue come from the LORD, though all ways seem clean to man, the LORD weighs the spirits. When a man's ways please the LORD, even his enemies are made at peace with him. Pride goes before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. Better is little with righteousness than great revenues without right. Righteousness exalts a nation and a wise man is better crowned with knowledge than with riches.
