Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 19 Summary
Integrity and the Discretion of Wisdom
Proverbs 19 declares that better is the poor who walks in integrity than one perverse in speech who is a fool. False witnesses and liars shall not escape unpunished. He that gets wisdom loves his own soul and keeps understanding to find good. The discretion of a man defers his anger and it is his glory to pass over transgression. A foolish son is the calamity of his father, while a prudent wife is from the LORD.
