Bible Chapter Summary
Proverbs 2 Summary
Seeking Wisdom and Avoiding Evil
The father urges his son to receive his words and seek wisdom with diligence, as silver and hidden treasures, promising that the LORD gives understanding and knowledge. Wisdom protects the righteous and guides them into righteousness, judgment, and equity, while discretion and understanding deliver from evil men and the strange woman whose house leads to death. The upright shall dwell in the land, but the wicked shall be cut off.
