Proverbs 4 Summary
Wisdom Is the Principal Thing
The father shares instruction from his own father, teaching his son to retain his words and keep his commandments to live, declaring that wisdom is the principal thing above all and brings honor and grace. The path of the just shines brightly while the way of the wicked is darkness, and the son is urged to keep his heart with diligence, avoid a froward mouth, and walk straight before him without turning aside.
