The LORD Said to My Lord
The most-quoted OT text in the NT. The LORD declares to David lord: sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool. You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek. Jesus uses it to probe how David son is also David Lord. The psalm is the foundation of NT high-priest Christology.
