Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 116 Summary
Deliverance and Thanksgiving
The psalmist loves the Lord because He heard his voice and supplications in distress. Compassed about by the sorrows of death, he called upon the Lord who showed mercy and delivered his soul from death, his eyes from tears, and his feet from falling. He walks before the Lord in the land of the living and offers thanksgiving, paying his vows before God's people in the courts of His house.
