Psalms 123 Summary
Eyes Fixed Upon the LORD for Mercy
The psalmist lifts his eyes to heaven toward the LORD, comparing his people's waiting to servants watching their master's hand for direction. The psalmist and his people wait upon the LORD until he shows mercy, for they are greatly filled with contempt and scorn from those at ease and from the proud.
