Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 138 Summary
Praise with Grateful Heart
The psalmist offers praise with his whole heart before the gods and worships toward God's holy temple, praising His name for lovingkindness and truth above all. When he cried out, God answered and strengthened him with strength in his soul. All the kings of the earth shall praise the Lord when they hear His words and sing in the ways of the Lord. Though God is high, He has respect unto the lowly and knows the proud afar off. Though the psalmist walks amid trouble, God revives him and defends him against enemies' wrath. God will perfect what concerns him, and His mercy endures forever.
