Psalms 14 Summary

The fool denies God; the righteous endure

The psalm reveals that the fool says in his heart there is no God, and all mankind have turned aside and become filthy, with none doing good. Workers of iniquity devour God's people as bread and call not upon Him. Yet when the LORD looked down from heaven, He saw this corruption and found His refuge among the righteous. The psalmist calls for God's salvation from Zion, that Jacob may rejoice when the LORD restores His people's captivity.
