Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 13 Summary
A cry for God's remembrance
The psalmist laments that God has forgotten him and hidden His face, leaving him in daily sorrow while enemies exalt themselves. He asks God to consider him, lighten his eyes lest death overtake him, and prevent his enemy from prevailing. Yet in the midst of distress, he affirms trust in God's mercy and declares that his heart shall rejoice in God's salvation, vowing to sing unto the LORD who has dealt bountifully with him.
