Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 150 Summary
All Living Things Commanded to Praise
The psalmist calls for praise of the Lord in His sanctuary and in the firmament of His power, celebrating His mighty acts and excellent greatness. He directs that the Lord be praised with a multitude of musical instruments—trumpet, psaltery, harp, timbrel, dance, stringed instruments, organs, and loud and high-sounding cymbals. The psalm concludes with the universal command that every living thing that has breath shall praise the Lord, with the final exhortation to praise Him again.
