Psalms 61 Summary

Cry to God from the Earth's End

The psalmist cries out to God from a distant place, asking Him to lead to safety when his heart is overwhelmed. He has trusted in God as his shelter and strong tower, and vows to dwell in God's tabernacle and abide under the shadow of His wings. The psalm extends this trust to the king, praying that God will prolong the king's life and that mercy and truth will preserve him.
