Bible Chapter Summary

Psalms 65 Summary

Praise and the Bounty of Creation

Praise waits for God in Zion, and vows shall be performed to Him who hears prayer. God purges away iniquities and transgressions, blessing those whom He chooses to approach and dwell in His courts, satisfying them with the goodness of His house and holy temple. Through terrible things in righteousness, God answers the ends of the earth, establishing the mountains by His strength and stilling the seas. God visits the earth, waters it, and greatly enriches it with the river of God, preparing corn and blessing the year with goodness so that the pastures overflow with flocks and the valleys are covered with corn.
