Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 91 Summary
Protection and Deliverance in the Most High
The psalmist declares that those who dwell in the secret place of the Most High find refuge and fortress in the Lord. God's protection covers all terrors and pestilences, whether they strike by night or day, and angelic forces are given charge to keep the believer's feet from stumbling. Through the power of faith in the Lord's name, the psalmist speaks of treading upon lions and dragons, and promises that God will deliver those who love Him with long life and salvation.
