Psalms 92 Summary

Thanksgiving and the Victory of Righteousness

The psalm declares that giving thanks and singing praise to the Lord is good, displaying His lovingkindness and faithfulness. Though the wicked flourish like grass, they shall be destroyed forever while the Lord remains on high eternally. The righteous flourish like palm trees and cedars in the house of the Lord, bringing forth fruit even in old age, demonstrating that the Lord is upright and just.
