Bible Chapter Summary

Psalms 95 Summary

Exhortation to Worship and Warning Against Hardness

The psalmist calls all to make joyful noise unto the Lord and worship before Him with thanksgiving. The Lord is a great God and great King above all gods, sovereign over the earth, sea, and hills. Believers are called to worship and bow down before the Lord their Maker, for they are His people and sheep of His pasture. However, they are warned not to harden their hearts as their fathers did in the wilderness, who tempted the Lord for forty years and were forbidden to enter His rest.
