Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 96 Summary
Sing a New Song: God's Greatness and Coming Judgment
The psalmist calls all the earth to sing a new song unto the Lord and declare His glory and wonders among the heathen. The Lord is great and greatly to be praised, feared above all gods, who alone made the heavens while the gods of the nations are but idols. All are called to give the Lord glory and strength, worship in the beauty of holiness, and declare that the Lord reigns and shall judge the world with righteousness and people with His truth.
