Revelation 14 Summary

The Lamb and the Redeemed, Angels Proclaim Judgment

John sees the Lamb standing on Mount Sion with 144,000 bearing His Father's name on their foreheads, singing a new song that no others could learn. These redeemed are virgins who follow the Lamb without guile or fault. Three angels then proclaim judgment: the first calls to fear God as His judgment hour comes; the second announces Babylon's fall; the third warns that worshippers of the beast shall drink God's wrath and be tormented with fire and brimstone. John then sees one like the Son of man sitting on a white cloud with a sharp sickle, and two more angels thrust in their sickles to reap the harvest of the earth and gather the vine into God's winepress.
