Bible Chapter Summary
Titus 3 Summary
Christian Citizenship and God's Transforming Mercy
Believers are to submit to government and authorities, speak no evil, avoid brawling, and show meekness toward all. Paul recalls that Christians themselves were once foolish, disobedient, and enslaved to passions, but God's kindness and love appeared through Christ's mercy and the washing of regeneration. Justified by grace, believers become heirs of eternal life, and must maintain good works while avoiding foolish controversies and rejecting divisive heretics. Paul concludes with travel plans and greetings.
