Bible Chapter Summary
Titus 2 Summary
Instructions for Different Groups in the Church
Titus is commanded to teach sound doctrine appropriate to each group: aged men should be sober and patient, aged women must be holy teachers of good things who instruct young women in devotion to family, and young men should be sober-minded. Titus himself must exemplify good works and uncorruptible doctrine so that opponents will be ashamed. The grace of God that brings salvation teaches all people to deny ungodliness and worldly lusts, live righteously, and wait for Christ's appearing.
