Zechariah 2 Summary

Vision of the Measuring Line and Promise of Restoration

Zechariah sees a man with a measuring line preparing to measure Jerusalem. An angel announces that Jerusalem will be inhabited as towns without walls due to multitude of people and cattle, protected by God as a wall of fire. The Lord calls His scattered people to flee from Babylon, promising to dwell among them and bless them with His presence. Many nations will join themselves to the Lord, and He will choose Jerusalem again.
