Ezekiel 22 Summary

Judgment on Jerusalem's Bloodshed and Idolatry

God pronounces severe judgment on Jerusalem for shedding blood and making idols, revealing the city as full of violence, oppression, and sexual wickedness. Princes, priests, and prophets are indicted for false divinity, abuse of widows and strangers, and profaning God's sanctuary. God declares He finds no one to intercede and will pour out His indignation, consuming the city's filthiness in the fire of His wrath until His fury is exhausted.
