Bible Chapter Summary

Ezekiel 35 Summary

Judgment Upon Mount Seir

The Lord directs Ezekiel to prophesy against mount Seir, condemning it for perpetual hatred of Israel and shedding their blood by the sword. The Lord swears He will make Seir desolate, filling its mountains with the slain and making it perpetual desolations whose cities shall not return. Because Seir boasted that the two nations and lands of Israel were its own, the Lord will make Himself known through judgment, and Edom shall become utterly desolate.
