Hosea 7 Summary

Israel's Hidden Wickedness and Refusal to Repent

When the LORD would have healed Israel, the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered and the wickedness of Samaria revealed; they commit falsehood, and thieves and robbers spoil without. Israel does not return to the LORD but is like a deceitful bow, and their pride testifies against them. They make themselves a cake not turned, mixed among the people, with strangers devouring their strength. The LORD will spread His net upon them and bring them down as fowls of heaven, and though redeemed, they have spoken lies against Him.
