Jeremiah 34 Summary
Zedekiah's Capture and Covenant Broken
Jeremiah tells King Zedekiah he will be captured but die in peace with royal honors. The king proclaims liberty to free Hebrew servants, but the princes take them back into bondage. God pronounces judgment: those who broke the covenant will be given to enemies; the city will burn, and Zedekiah and his princes will fall to the king of Babylon.
