Bible Chapter Summary
John 6 Summary
The Bread of Life Discourse
After feeding five thousand Jesus walks on water. The crowd follows seeking bread; Jesus declares I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry; whoever believes will never be thirsty. He speaks of eating his flesh and drinking his blood - language that drives many away. This is a hard teaching. Peter: Lord, to whom shall we go?
