Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 108 Summary
A Vow to Praise and a Prayer for Victory
With his heart fixed, the psalmist vows to sing and give praise, awaking early with psaltery and harp. He resolves to praise the Lord among peoples and nations, exalting God above the heavens. Declaring that God has spoken in holiness and will divide the lands of His inheritance among His people, he calls on the Lord to save His beloved with His right hand and deliver His chosen ones, trusting that through God they shall do valiantly and tread down their enemies.
