Bible Chapter Summary

Psalms 12 Summary

Judgment against flattery and deception

The psalmist cries out as godly men cease and the faithful fail, for men speak vanity with flattering lips and double hearts. They boast that their tongues will prevail and none can rule over them. Yet the LORD will cut off flattering lips and proud speech, and will rescue the oppressed and needy. The LORD's words are pure as refined silver, and He will preserve the faithful from this corrupt generation.
