Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 36 Summary
Contrast of Wickedness and God's Goodness
The psalmist observes that wickedness speaks within a wicked man's heart that there is no fear of God, and he devises mischief and abhors what is good. In contrast, the psalmist exalts the mercy and faithfulness of the Lord, His righteousness like great mountains, and His lovingkindness under whose shadow men trust. The psalm assures that those who know God will have their souls abundantly satisfied, while workers of iniquity will fall.
