Bible Chapter Summary
Psalms 70 Summary
Urgent Prayer for Help and Deliverance
The psalmist urgently calls on God to make haste to deliver and help him. He prays that those who seek his soul be ashamed and confounded, turned backward and put to confusion. All who seek God should rejoice and be glad in Him, and those who love His salvation should continually say, 'Let God be magnified.' Though the psalmist is poor and needy, he trusts that God is his help and deliverer and asks that the Lord make no tarrying.
