Psalms 98 Summary

Sing a New Song: God's Marvellous Works

The psalmist calls all the earth to sing a new song because the Lord has done marvellous things, with His right hand and holy arm obtaining victory. The Lord has made known His salvation and openly showed His righteousness to the heathen, remembering His mercy and truth toward Israel. All creation is summoned to make joyful noise with harps, trumpets, and cornets, as the Lord comes to judge the earth with righteousness and equity.
